Photographs are one of the first things people instinctually want to save if faced with a crisis. There's something profoud and unique about imagery's ability to evoke memories and emotions. Because of this, we view photography not as an expense but as invesment, a treasure shared with loved ones for generations. 

People are also handling photos differently than in the past. While nothing can replace a high-quality 8x10 framed photo, we now want to share our photos on Facebook and Flickr, to blog them, or e-mail them to relatives around the country. Carlson | Photo understands this, and so we give all of our clients the rights to reproduce, post, and distribute their images however they see fit. We hang on to the ability to use your images on our website and in promotional materials, but you'll never have to come back to us for reprints. We also work hard to keep your costs low. We shoot with modern digital equipment that minimizes processing costs, and we give you options for packages that can fit any budget.
